There are two 15-passenger trams that make a circle around the park throughout the day. The trams serve the entire park and go in a circle every 20 minutes. When you get on the tram at the hotel, it is a pretty quick 2-mile trip to Conservation Hall. When you get on the tram at Conservation Hall you’ll have to go the rest of the 15-minute circle through the park to get back to the Lodge.
A great option for those staying at The Lodge or in the Cabins or Cottages at Gulf State Park will be to use the free bike rentals that are available. You have to use a credit card to take the bicycle but there is no charge if the bicycle is returned. It is about 2 miles of flat paved road between The Lodge and Conservation Hall, so going back and forth from there on a bicycle should be fun and easy in spring weather.
There are some additional parking spaces at the Woodside Restaurant which is a very short walk from Conservation Hall, and we will be able to use some of those spaces after our lot of 60 spaces is filled up. But we want to be very careful not to use up all of their spaces so that they don’t have spaces for their customers. It is a very popular restaurant and fills up most nights, so let’s do this in order to be good guests: If you plan to have breakfast and/or lunch at Woodside Grill, you can park there in the morning, and if you plan to have dinner at Woodside after the afternoon session, you can park there in the afternoon. Otherwise, let’s try to avoid using their parking spaces. (And, by the way, their breakfast, lunch and dinner is really good!)
There are also 12 more spaces across the street from Woodside Restaurant adjacent to the bike-share pick-up location. If you are not staying in the park but want to spend some time on a bicycle in the park on some days, this will be a good place for you to park and pick up a free bicycle to ride around the park.
Coffee & Tea
We will have coffee and tea available on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings from 9:00 until after the morning break. Because everything at The Learning Campus at Gulf Shores is operated in an environmentally conscious way, we want to be very respectful of those aims and guidelines. That means we will be focused on reusable rather than disposable. The goal is less use of paper. This means you should bring a refillable water bottle, and if you drink coffee or tea, a refillable mug or tumbler with your name on it. We’ll have a few paper cups on hand in case you forget your reusable mug or tumbler. There are several water stations for filling and refilling your water bottle in the buildings on the campus that we will be using.

We have a reputation among the staff of The Learning Campus of being the nicest group of people they have ever had at the park, and hope to get those reviews of our group again this year!
Bible at the Beach Onsite Bookstore
We will have a terrific bookstore set up at Bible at the Beach provided by 10ofThose that will have an excellent selection of resources.
